Roles and Responsibility:
  • Admissions Process Management: Oversee the entire admissions process from initial inquiry to final enrollment, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for prospective students and their families.
  • Student Counselling: Provide personalized counselling sessions to prospective students and their families, addressing their queries and concerns while guiding them through admission requirements, curriculum details, subject choices, and the school's facilities.
  • Application Evaluation: Review and assess student applications, academic records, and other relevant documents to determine eligibility and suitability for admission to the IBDP.
  • Outreach and Promotion: Work with the marketing and communications team to develop and execute outreach programs, promotional events, open house sessions, and recruitment strategies to attract a diverse range of potential students.
  • Interviews and Assessments: Conduct interviews, aptitude tests, and other assessments to evaluate the aptitude, interests, and potential of applicants.
  • Parent Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with parents/guardians, address their concerns, and emphasize the advantages of our residential school to gain their trust and support.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of applicant data, admission decisions, and related communications to ensure efficient reporting and follow-up.
  • Adherence to IB Guidelines: Ensure compliance with IB admission guidelines and regulations, staying informed about any changes or updates to admission policies.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to coordinate admission-related activities, including orientations, open house sessions, and enrolment procedures.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Counselling, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as an Admission Counsellor in IB schools, with in-depth knowledge of the IB curriculum and admission procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with prospective students and parents.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to efficiently handle various admission-related tasks.
  • Familiarity with educational marketing strategies and recruitment techniques is a plus.
  • Empathy and sensitivity to understand and address the needs and concerns of students and parents during the admission process.
