Our DP1 learners of Psychology conducted simple cognitive experiments as part of their formative assessment. Divided into two groups, they replicated the experiments on framing effect by Tversky and Kahneman (1981) and congruence bias by Tschirgi (1980).
They carried out the experimental procedures and described the aim and basis of the study to the educators who participated in the experiments.
This session enabled students to practice and demonstrate their ability to conduct psychological experiments ethically and prepare for their internal assessment. It also expressed how accurately and quantitatively they had absorbed their lessons during their academic classes.
