Your Questions, Answered.

The IB Diploma Programme is a two-year pre-university qualification (Grades 11–12) designed for learners aged 16–19. It combines academic depth with experiential learning through its core components — TOK, EE, and CAS.

Each subject is graded on a scale of 1–7. Up to three additional points are awarded for Theory of Knowledge and the Extended Essay, bringing the maximum score to 45.

While the IB is highly valued by international universities, many Indian institutions also recognise the programme. It benefits any learner who wants strong critical thinking, research, and communication skills.

Yes. The IBDP is recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to Grade 12 from national boards, and many Indian universities accept IB learners for a wide range of programmes.

The IB develops strong conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills that support many competitive exams. With planning, students can prepare for entrance exams alongside their IB studies.

Learners receive personalised academic support, college counselling, wellbeing programmes, and opportunities through clubs, events, and community initiatives – so they can thrive both in and beyond the classroom.
