Inner Engineering Programme at Knowledgeum Academy

Knowledgeum Academy hosted the Inner Engineering programme, a 13-day holistic wellness initiative conducted by the Isha Foundation. Designed by Sadhguru, the programme aimed to enhance learner’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being through practical yogic tools.

The programme was divided into two phases. The first phase (Sessions 1-9) included Sadhguru's discourses, basic yoga practices such as Yoga Namaskar for spinal health, Isha Kriya for overall well-being, and interactive games promoting awareness. The second phase (Sessions 10-13) focused on the initiation into Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya, a 21-minute daily practice involving breathwork and meditation.

Ten learners from Knowledgeum Academy successfully completed the programme and were initiated into Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya. Participants reported feeling more calm and relaxed, with improved focus, emotional balance, and an increased sense of joy and well-being.

Scientific research on Shambhavi Mahamudra practitioners highlights benefits such as 50% stress reduction, better sleep quality, increased Anandamide levels (the body’s natural antidepressant), and enhanced energy and productivity.

The Inner Engineering programme significantly contributed to the learners' holistic development, promoting emotional resilience, creativity, and improved academic performance. The Isha Foundation expressed gratitude for the collaboration with Knowledgeum Academy and looks forward to future partnerships to bring yogic science to more learners.
