Description: Participants learn how to effectively perform monologues, developing acting skills, emotional range, and stage presence through guided exercises and feedback.

Description: Participants learn how to craft effective AI prompts, experiment with AI tools, and discuss responsible AI use, merging technology with creativity.

Format: 60 minutes, including demonstrations and hands-on practice

• Introduction to AI language models
• Principles of effective prompt writing
• Techniques to get better AI outputs

• Personal laptop or tablet
• Curiosity and creativity

Category: Individual competition

Description: A live spelling competition testing spelling, pronunciation, and presence of mind with rounds of increasing difficulty.

Format: Multiple oral rounds, from prelims to final showdown; 1-minute time limit per participant to spell words

Suggested Themes: Age-appropriate vocabulary, mix of commonly misspelt words, theme-based words, bonus challenge words in final rounds

Requirements & Rules:

• Minimum 2, maximum 3 participants per school
• Participants spell words pronounced by the moderator.
• Allowed to request repetition once or definition/use in sentence
• 30 seconds max to spell each word; no changes after starting
• Incorrect spelling leads to elimination and tie-breaker rounds if needed

Judging Criteria:

• Correct spelling
• Clear pronunciation
• Confidence and composure under time pressure

Category: Individual competition

Description: An expressive session where participants bring themes to life on canvas, showcasing imagination and technique.

Format: On-the-spot painting; 45 minutes; theme revealed at start

Requirements & Rules:

• Maximum 2 participants per school in each category.
• Medium of choice: brushes, acrylics, watercolours, etc.
• All materials need to be carried by the participants. No sharp objects, toxic materials, open flames, or hazardous elements are allowed.
• Original artwork creation on canvas
• Canvas will be provided by Knowledgeum Academy
• Participants must manage time within 45 minutes

• Creativity and originality
• Technique and use of medium
• Interpretation of the theme

Category: Individual competition

Description: Creative digital art competition encouraging tech-savvy artistic expression.

Format: Digital artwork creation in limited time; theme revealed at event

Suggested Themes: Open digital art themes aligned with the main festival theme

Requirements & Rules:

• Maximum 2 participants per school in each category
• Use of personal devices
• Original and thematic artwork
• Time limit and submission rules strictly followed

Judging Criteria:

• Creativity in digital medium
• Relevance to theme
• Technical skill and uniqueness

Category: Group competition

Description: Hands-on model building demonstrating understanding of scientific principles.

Format: Model creation showcasing scientific concepts; presentation component

Suggested Themes: Scientific innovations, environment, technology applications

Requirements & Rules:

• One team per school with minimum 2, maximum 4 participants in each category.
• Models must be student-made and functional if applicable
• Explanation/presentation of model needed
• Safety and appropriateness checked

Judging Criteria:

• Scientific accuracy
• Creativity and innovation
• Presentation and explanation clarity

Category: Individual competition

Description: A fast-paced individual competition that challenges participants to think on their feet and deliver coherent, persuasive, and engaging short speeches on diverse topics associated with leadership, productivity, social issues, and values.

Format:

• Maximum 2 participants per school
• Participants speak impromptu on topics revealed at the start of each round
• Each participant gets 1-2 minutes to present their thoughts
• Multiple rounds may be held depending on number of participants
• Topics are randomly assigned or drawn from a bowl of topics randomly

Requirements and Rules:

• Quick thinking and confident presentation expected
• No prepared speeches or notes allowed

• Participants must come prepared to be spontaneous on any given topics
