Our DP1 learners had the enriching opportunity to participate in the prestigious Bishop Cotton’s Model United Nations (CoMUN) 2025, held from 31st July to 2nd August. What began thirteen years ago as a citywide initiative has grown into an internationally recognised conference, drawing some of the brightest young minds from across the globe.
With seven dynamic and intellectually stimulating committees, CoMUN 2025 challenged delegates through rigorous debate, negotiation, and collaboration on pressing global issues. Representing Burkina Faso, Aditi S Iyengar and Avani Srikanth, and representing Mozambique, Rohan Savanur and Ishana Bushan, participated in the Social, Humanitarian and Cultural Committee (SOCHUM).
In this forum, they addressed complex humanitarian challenges, advocating for human rights and the dignity of individuals worldwide. Through well-researched arguments, diplomatic engagement, and thoughtful negotiation, our learners showcased maturity, clarity, and leadership beyond their years.
Their participation reflected a strong grasp of international relations, intercultural understanding, and global citizenship, making us proud of the way they represented Knowledgeum Academy with insight, integrity, and confidence.
