Independence Day 2025: Celebrating Freedom with Responsibility

Knowledgeum Academy celebrated Independence Day on 15th August 2025 with the theme “Badalavaneya Bharatha”, using cultural performances to instill patriotism and spark reflection on civic responsibility. The celebration began at 8:15 AM with the flag hoisting ceremony and the singing of the National Anthem, fostering a strong sense of pride among learners, educators, and parents. At 8:30 AM, DP learners staged the first street play in front of the Academy, delivering the thought-provoking message that “responsibility is freedom” and encouraging critical reflection on its role in shaping the nation’s future. A second performance followed at 10:00 AM at Maiyas Restaurant, Jayanagar 4th Block, where parents and community members joined in, further amplifying the impact of the initiative. The day not only honoured India’s independence but also highlighted the importance of personal responsibility in driving social change and national progress, inspiring learners to envision their role in building a responsible and progressive India.
