Evolve: Looking Back. Growing Forward

Reflections Day, held on May 23, 2025, at Knowledgeum Academy, was a three-hour event designed to encourage learners to introspect and share their academic and personal growth journeys. Graced by the presence of the founders Ms. Aparna Prasad, Dr. Chenraj Roychand, Head of Communications and Operations Ms. Deepa, and Head of School Mr. Kalai Rajan, the event reflected the institution’s commitment to holistic education.

Highlights included a learner-led improv session where learners creatively narrated their experiences, such as Sharvi from DP1 who shared a typical day in the life of a Knowledgeumite. The academic reflections segment featured presentations on IB core components like TOK and CAS, subject-wise achievements, collaborative projects, field trips to places like Chitrakala Parishath and NIMHANS, and the impact of industry visits and career counselling.

An informal interaction session allowed learners to engage with the founders over coffee, gaining valuable insights. The Reflection Tree activity symbolised learner growth, with colour-coded leaves representing impactful moments, personal growth, and lessons learned from challenges. Ms. Latha Balaji led a walkthrough of the tree, facilitating meaningful discussions.

The event concluded with Deputy Head Satya who appreciated the event's innovative approach and meaningful engagement, also recognised learners’ journeys and the continued support of the faculty throughout the academic year.
