As part of the IBDP CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) programme, learners from Knowledgeum Academy participated in an international learning trip to Vietnam from 21st to 26th February 2026, visiting the cities of Hanoi and Sapa. The trip provided students with opportunities to explore culture, creativity, outdoor activities, and community life through immersive experiences. In Hanoi, learners visited significant cultural landmarks such as the Temple of Literature and the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, and attended the Quintessence of Tonkin performance, which showcased Vietnam’s rural traditions and cultural heritage. They also participated in hands-on workshops at Bat Trang Pottery Village and Ha Thai Lacquer Village, gaining insights into traditional crafts and artistic techniques.
The journey continued to Sapa, where learners trekked through the scenic Cat Cat Village, interacted with the Black H’mong community, and explored the region’s cultural traditions. Learners also experienced an adventure to Fansipan, the highest peak in Indochina, and participated in a creative batik workshop, further enriching their understanding of local art forms.
The CAS trip successfully combined cultural exploration, creativity, physical activity, and reflection, providing learners with meaningful global exposure and valuable real-world learning experiences.
