As part of a cross-disciplinary initiative, the Business Studies learners at Knowledgeum Academy presented a theatrical adaptation of Ken Blanchard’s “Who Killed Change?”. This unique project transformed organisational change theory into an engaging murder mystery, where 14 critical factors of change such as Culture, Commitment, Communication, Leadership, and Accountability were personified as characters.
Through a detective-style narrative, the performance explored how the absence or failure of these elements led to the “murder” of Change within a fictional organisation. The dramatisation not only made complex business concepts tangible but also provided learners with an opportunity to apply theory in a creative and reflective manner.
Aligned with the CAS programme, the initiative encouraged collaboration, risk-taking, and critical thinking, while also allowing students to reflect on teamwork and personal growth. The confident performance highlighted the learners’ grasp of both business management principles and the importance of interdisciplinary learning, making the project a memorable and impactful educational experience.
